The Downtown Sanger Farmers Market strives to be 80% agriculture based products and 20% producer made products.

“Agriculture based products” are described as: eggs, honey, nuts and seeds, produce, canned goods, bread and baked goods, planting seeds, outdoor and indoor plants, fruits, beef and poultry. Raw milk cannot be sold at farmers markets.

A few examples of “producer made products” are homemade soaps, knitted or crocheted items, handmade jewelry, pottery, wood crafts, and any handmade crafts or handmade items.  Producers may not may not sell work produced with commercial kits, models, patterns, plans, prefabricated forms, or other commercial methods. 

Downtown Sanger Farmers Market will host four “small business days” during its market season. Small business days are for any small business that is outside the spectrum of the products that are listed above. This excludes firearms, ammunition, fireworks and other hazardous items.

  • Farmers, ranchers, cottage food producers, and any local producer or artist who handcrafts their items can become a vendor for Downtown Sanger Farmers’ Market. Please read the handbook for further information.

  • Downtown Sanger Farmers Market is located at Stephen Baker Field in Sanger. This football field is located behind Linda Tutt High School (404 Hughes St, Sanger, TX 76266). We are right off I-35 service road next to Afford-It Tires.

  • Market days will be held mid-march until December. We will sell on the first and third Saturdays and third Sundays of the month. Operating hours will be 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. (summer hours 8-12) on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays (summer hours 9 am -1 pm)

  • Yes! Food trucks must have a current permit from the State of Texas or a local city as well as a food handlers certification. This must be submitted to the market for review prior to the day you wish to sell.
